I remember, the summer you , warren, puddy, came to Va. for the summer, you all were so busy, going to the center, dances, & just doing what boys do, none of you, wanted to leave & go home, u & (fred) were so much alike, I think he liked having, you look up to him & his teaching you, your game plan, he misses you so much, he still can't understand how he didn't know something went wrong, but he;s got his, big bro Bry, now. just like you. we love you forever!

Summer of 1993, Bran was 11 yrs old and my first summer away from home.  I had my first apartment in Pittsburgh. My roommate was my best friend Vkno and Bran came up to visit.  He stayed with me for a few weeks and I just showed him the city.  I didn't have a car yet, so it was poor man's travel.  We'd blast music, stay up late playing UNO, eat fast food.  No parents around, this was livin'. 
 
One day we went out and got cheese steaks and fries.  Now the best steaks are in the deli shops around Philly or its suburbs.  Just because you call it a Philly cheese steak, doesn't make it one. So Pittburgh tried its best imitation.  We sat down to eat them, but before eating his steak sandwich, Bran lathered it with soooo much ketchup.  With every bite, gobbs of ketchup would spew out, all on his hands, on the wrapping, on his clothes.  It was a mess!! I just looked at him and was like, "Now what? You have to finish it. Why did you use so much ketchup?"  Now that I have kids of my own, I understand why.  I'll miss you little brother. Roam no more and be at peace.
